A look at the extensive and varied collections held at Worthing Museum & Art Gallery, along with some of the key donors that made the museum what it is today. The Museum holds over 300,000 items in it’s collection, many of which have a direct connection to Worthing and the local area. This talk will encompass everything from Prehistoric flint tools, Roman coin hoards, Fine Art and sculpture, to rare survivals of dress and historical documents from the founding of Worthing as a town.
