About
By day, a free week-long event charting the history of film and cinema in our town: from early pioneers to innovative upcoming animators.
By night; TWO ticketed special screenings of feature-length films with a Worthing connection.
PAST: an exhibition of Worthing ‘ghost’ cinemas with carefully-curated archival footage & stills, pioneering silent films and locals’ childhood memories of Worthing’s forgotten cinemas.
PRESENT: a look at our wonderful independent cinema history and their colourful and precarious journeys throughout the last century.
FUTURE: a continuous showreel of short films from local filmmakers – history in the making!
There will also be an opportunity for YOU to share your stories and be a part of this fascinating Worthing archive.
