Stephen Austin is here to perform a delightful afternoon of music on the Worthing Wurlitzer.
Stephen studied piano and classical organ in Essex (with Anne Jones, Alan Parry and Roy Wise) to Grade 8. On leaving school, Stephen was offered a position at Hammond Organ UK in Edgware on the recommendation of Ena Baga whom he had come to know through local Hammond Organ Societies. This started his wide career, which led him to become the demonstrator/in-house teacher at the famous Cavendish Organ Centre in London’s West End, amongst other great roles as an organist.
Stephen is here to play music from stage, screen, big bands, orchestras and more on the Worthing Wurlitzer for a joyful evening of tunes.
