The only bowls club in Worthing with indoor and outdoor rinks celebrates its 75th anniversary with two special matches and a charity quiz night in aid of Chestnut Tree House children’s hospice.
Join the fun on Saturday, April 29 from 6pm at the quiz, with a hot buffet provided by The Outside Dining Room. Prizes for the best quizzers include luxury food hampers and champagne.
On Sunday 30th April, six other Sussex bowls clubs will play teams from Worthing Pavilion BC on the grass rinks. Come down to watch the action from 2pm and enjoy a fabulous barbecue laid on by The Outside Dining Room.
On Monday 1st May, exactly 75 years to the day since the first wood was bowled at Pavilion Road, the male and female presidents of Sussex County Bowls are sending teams to compete against the host club. The bar and kitchen will be open all day throughout the anniversary weekend to serve visitors and bowlers.
