Archive film show with live commentaries. First broadcast online in 2022 this new show reprises the most popular footage and many new clips. Included are Worthing lifeboat 1890s to 1930s, beach and pier including the fire in 1933, the snowy winter of 1939/40 and the sad demise of the old Town Hall in 1966, plus other newly discovered film clips donated to Screen Archive South East.
This is a free event, hosted by Screen Archive South East in association with West Sussex Record Office. Tickets available from 5th May to 2pm on 15th June and numbers are limited.
