West Sussex Art Society members are back at Colonnade House with their Annual Show. There is always so much art to see at this regular summer event in the Worthing Art Calendar.
2024 marks 95 years since the founding of the “Sketch Club” which then evolved into the Art Society today. This community of West Sussex Artists continues to grow, meeting once a month or talks, workshops and demonstrations by visiting artists, scholars and authors. The meetings are always a great opportunity to meet new creative friends, share upcoming events and talk all things art!
The membership is made up of a wide variety of artists, including professional and accomplished part-time artists. Members work in a wide array of mediums, 2D and 3D, with equally varied subject matter. Each year the Annual Show exhibits approximately 100 pieces filling both Colonnade Galleries with original artwork.
On Saturday 25 May 2-4pm, there is a meet the artist event, during which the Juliet Pannett Rose Bowl will be presented by the guest judge to their choice of Best in Show and Highly Commended artworks.
Exhibiting Art Society members with steward the show and look forward to meeting visitors.
