Walter Wall: Making it Visible

Local artist, Walter Wall is back at Colonnade House with this latest collection of work;

(A ‘see’ of colours. fragment 38)

Although they’d always been there no one had really paid them much attention. Each had been manipulated and made use of before. And at times they’d been put together to communicate different perspectives. Now, however, it was time for a fresh look.

I find it difficult working with the invisible but exhilarating when I manage to make it visible.

Doing and exploring the process often triggers ideas. It’s like playing and investigating all at the same time. Things are in constant flux. Always fluid and evolving. Whatever the feelings it generates I have the urge to do it. It’s like a romance with the unknown.

The exhibition will be viewable through the windows until 4 January 2022.
