The Bad Day – Blues At Its Very Best
Energy and attitude
The UK’s most exciting modern blues artists, The Bad Day Blues Band exploded onto the scene in 2017, playing Times Square in New York City with double Grammy Award winner Delbert McClinton. This amazing show was then followed by two critically acclaimed performances at The Isle Of Wight Festival in both 2018 and 2019. The Bad Day Blues Band have wowed audiences at many of the U.K’s major festivals, with their unique style of energetic Rock n Roll-Blues.
Unpredictable and raw
The new bad boys of the blues scene have played alongside artists such as The Killers, Kirk Fletcher, Ben Poole, The Manic Street Preachers, Starsailor, Badly Drawn Boy, Delbert McClinton, George Ezra, Cheryl Crow and many others. You never quite know where their performance will lead to, including harp and guitar duals or screaming and shouting catchy chorus lines from new original blues rock belters! Radio play by BBC Radio 2 (UK), Planet Rock Radio and Radio Rock (Brazil) helped the group establish themselves as one of the world’s most exciting blues-rock prospects.
Mainstream media attention
Featured in international mainstream media such as Bassplayer magazine (US and UK) the group are very well respected amongst their industry peers. Television interviews on London Live TV, SKY, Virgin and Freeview have teased as to what may come from the group. They are naturals in front of the camera as well as on stage.
Amazing songwriting ability
In short, they have a very unique set of skills, songwriting ability does not often come in these packages. They have possibly the best harmonica player in the country and a frontman with charisma, passion and an ease of performance that is rarely seen these days. The energy, charisma, songwriting and musicianship blended into one volcanic performance that you will not forget! So often when you see a group in this genre they are really a one man show with a faceless backing group but BDBB are a band of brothers, fighting the good fight to bring raw, energetic Rock n Roll to the world!
