Second Summer of Love

One woman’s first-hand flashback to the euphoric early 90’s UK rave scene.

Original raver, Louise, wonders how she went from ecstasy-taking idealist to respectable, disillusioned, Home Counties mum.

An uplifting, high-energy, physical-theatre solo story about coming of age, mid-life recovery, raising palms to the skies in fields and the ups and downs of recreational drug-taking.

Written and performed by Emmy Happisburgh. Directed by Peter Bramley with additional direction by Scott Le Crass and produced by Lucy Wylie.

Second Summer of Love was originally developed in collaboration with Pants on Fire.

Inspired by Sterns nightclub, Highdown Hill, Worthing.
