Local artist Nora Young has been exploring mark making as an essential form of making for her upcoming exhibition. Considering the marks all around us, natural and human, Nora will be sharing what she has been getting up to.

David Hockney said ‘ We are constantly moving through landscape – you move – you walk – you see the marks – I wanted the marks.’
He was describing his year first in the Yorkshire Wolds, and then another year in Normandy in 2020.
Can we move through a small area of our local landscape and see the marks that we want to have, feel drawn to and start collect?
During the exhibition come and see the results of the adventure of collection, and maybe see some being made.
