Artist Mary Kinsella has lived by the sea, and in Worthing for nearly three years. During this time she has enjoyed walking along the seafront to observe magnificent sunsets, sunrises and everything in between. This ever changing horizon has inspired Mary to produce a new collection of seascapes and colourful abstract pieces.
With over thirty years of creative workshop facilitation and painting experience, over lockdown, Mary began to experiment with her love of colour and movement on a grand scale – working on larger canvases.
Mary’s recent series of abstract paintings are an immediate aesthetic contrast to her seascapes, however both starting points are an emotive response to living by the sea.
On returning to Colonnade House for the second time, Mary says “I am pleased to be showing here again as it is such a lovely local venue, supporting local artists.”
Mary hopes that visitors will enjoy the colourful experience and leave feeling inspired.
