Levellers Collective (Acoustic)

English folk rock and Anarcho-punk, the Levellers, are coming to Worthing!

Levellers Collective perform acoustic reworkings of some of the Levellers’ finest compositions from their back catalogue. Described by Classic Rock as “radical reworkings of old singles…. simultaneously stripped down and lavish”, the Collective shows are very different to a ‘normal’ Levellers gig.

Abbey Road and John Leckie produced the Collective album, which was released to critical acclaim in 2018. Producer Sean Lakeman helped the band reimagine more of the songs they’ve played for nearly 30 years into new and daring musical arrangements on the follow-up album Together All The Way. The album is arguably even more stripped back than the first and is focused on their traditional folk roots.

Released five years after the first, it was celebrated with an almost sell-out seated acoustic tour around UK theatres in February and March, with new dates now announced for May. The band were once again joined in the Collective by members of The Moulettes on the record, and on stage.

WTM is acting as a ticket agent on behalf of the production company responsible for this performance.
