Artist Anna Brownsted is holding workshops in the Worthing Museum education room for people of Adur and Worthing to create their own A5 collages using personal photographs and other material provided by herself.
People are also being invited to send images or newspaper clippings that sum up what life in Adur and Worthing means to them, Anna especially keen to see pictures of days on the beach with the family, trips to local landmarks, community street parties, or memorable events and festivals.
The deadline for these images to be sent is by April 1st 2022, emailed to worthingseafrontjubilee2022@gmail.com
Anna will be using these to develop the 20 collages at the Worthing Seafront Gallery, photographing and collating in a book to send to Buckingham Palace as a gift to the Queen in celebration of the Platinum Jubilee.
The two workshops will take place at Worthing Museum on Sunday 20th March 2022 and Sunday 27th March 2022, from 11:30am to 1:30pm.
The finished work will be exhibited at the Seafront Gallery from the beginning of May until the end of September 2022.
