Blue Sky Music brings you Open Mic at the Broadwater, a friendly Greene King venue with food available until 7pm – come and have dinner then sing some songs – what could be better?!
Slots for the open mic do not need to be pre-booked – just turn up and play. We have a whiteboard where you can put your name down, then we go down the list in the order they’re written. Three songs each, then if there’s time we go round again for another one, usually ending the night with as many musicians on stage as possible!
We have a house guitar and keyboard, with a triple guitar stand to store your own if you’d prefer. Space for a drum kit, but we don’t supply one – please let us know if you are planning to bring one. Two vocal mics and stands but we can supply more if needed for your act (please let us know in advance!).
Our open mics encourage collaboration and if you are a musician looking to start or join a band, it’s a good place for you to find like-minded people. Everyone is welcome!
