Worthing Museum & Art Gallery

Housed in the stunning Edwardian building are 2 art galleries – the exhibitions of which rotate nine times each year, sculpture garden, studio gallery as well as permanent displays of the internationally renowned costume collection, fine and decorative art, toys, social history, and archaeology.

Don’t miss the Costume Trail, running until 31st August 2018. It opens the doors of the museum and leads the public into familiar locations and venues throughout Worthing. During this journey around town, visitors will uncover a snapshot of the costume collections and will discover more about the town’s social history. Whilst visiting, enjoy browsing the Museum gift shop, which sells a range of museum memorabilia as well as gifts and cards, made by local suppliers.

Want to learn more? Throughout the year, Worthing Museum and Art Gallery offer a varied programme of both adult and children activities and workshops. There are also workshops for the under 5’s, as well as the museum mice trail. With a dedicated education service for schools who wish to visit the Museum and take part in workshops, as well as loan boxes including Victorian, Toys and pre-history, there really is something for everyone!
