Chintz & Wood sits on Brighton Road, in the Worthing Conservation District. Since opening in June 2024, Chintz & Wood has quickly established itself as a cherished addition to Worthing’s home interiors scene. This delightful homewares shop offers a beautiful range of products that are “handmade for your home,” blending artistry with everyday practicality.

Founded by Wendy March, Chintz & Wood draws inspiration from her journey from Portland, Oregon, back to her roots in Sussex. The collection marries contemporary flair with timeless, traditional charm. Each piece in the shop is carefully selected, from handcrafted ceramics and textiles to bespoke wooden furniture and one-of-a-kind decorative treasures.

What sets Chintz & Wood apart is its deeply personal touch. Wendy and her partner, Jubal, make many of the pieces themselves. Wendy creates unique cushions and lampshades from naturally dyed vintage linens, while Jubal handcrafts wooden furniture and objects in his Worthing studio. The shop also proudly features works from talented local artisans.
