AudioActive

AudioActive, established in 1999, began with a small team of music enthusiasts and youth workers, aiming to provide young people in the local area with opportunities to access and create music. Over time, the organisation has grown, forming a unique community of artists and young people across Sussex.

Initially part of the Hangleton and Knoll neighbourhood development charity, AudioActive became the education partner of the Brighton Hip-Hop Festival in 2005, offering workshops in rap, DJing, breakdance, and graffiti. In 2022, AudioActive opened a new creative space on Montague Street in Worthing, providing a dedicated environment for young people.

The space also features Black rain coffee roaster, serving coffee and sweet treats throughout the week. When you buy a coffee, you’re supporting AudioActive’s mission to continue providing creative opportunities for young people.
