Town Centre Blue Plaque Guided Heritage Walk by the Worthing Society

The Worthing Society are hosting a guided walk of their Blue Plaque Trail starting at the entrance to the Pier by the Denton. The walk will take approximately 1.5 hours and will finish at Pizza Express, where there will be the option to purchase Tea/coffee and other refreshments. Cost of the guided walk is £5 per person.

Meeting point: at the entrance to the pier on the Seafront by the Denton.

Blue Plaques are installed in a public place to commemorate a link between that location and a person of significance, (either locally or national). On this walk we will visit 11 of the 15 town centre plaques.

Sue Belton, Chair of the Worthing Society will lead the walk and explain who these people were, what they did, and why they were awarded a Blue Plaque.

The walk will end at Pizza Express where Refreshments will be available.
