My best advice to new residents would be to take up any and all opportunities to explore Worthing, meet people, make connections and be part of building on what is already a wonderful community. My experience has been that people here are open to new friendships and connections, more than anywhere else I've lived.

I love living in Worthing with my family, it gives me easy access to the sea and the South Downs as well as the right balance of culture, history, shops, family activities and a strong sense of community.

I'm in East Worthing/ Worthing Old Town and I love being close to town, near East Beach studios, Coast Cafe, Factory Live and beautiful Homefield Park and The Quashettes (a twitten that leads you up to the downs without going on the road).

I love the fact that it's easy to get to the woods and to Cissbury ring for a walk or a bike ride. I've also met some lovely local people who have helped me to become an all-season sea splosher. My family and I love the cafes, restaurants, pubs and family activities as well as the varied programme at Worthing Museum, Theatres and cinemas.

There are so many hidden gems in Worthing and it's been a lot of fun funding them. They're not hidden as such, but two of my favourite places are Worthing Museum and Cissbury Ring - and I'm always shocked when people haven't been.
