Discover the world of automotive art with John Hamilton, a self-taught artist and lifelong petrol head. John’s journey began in 1990 with a simple pencil sketch of a Ford Pop 103e. With limited resources available to produce prints from his originals, his introduction to digital art marked a significant turning point in his career.
Using a digital pen and tablet, John unlocked a new realm of creativity and flexibility. His passion and knowledge of cars enabled him to produce illustrations that capture the essence of classic and performance cars.
John’s work has been showcased at prestigious exhibitions, including the Royal Automobile Club at Pall Mall, the Shelsley Walsh Exhibition of Speed, and the Motoring Literary & Art Festival at Silverstone.
Over the years, John has collaborated with a diverse range of clients, from car clubs to unique businesses. His clients include Eagle E-Types, Lancia Motor Club, Surrey Capri Owners Club, Salty Willies Fish Shack on the Isle of Wight, and All Things Anglia, among others.
