The Cellar Arts Club in Worthing is a members-only bar that offers a unique and alternative space for the community. Operated as a not-for-profit users’ co-operative, the club is staffed and run entirely by volunteers, creating a friendly and comfortable atmosphere that is inclusive and non-cliquey.
The Cellar Arts Club hosts a variety of events, including live music gigs, poetry readings, art shows, talks, arts quiz nights, and DJ nights featuring in-house DJs. It also features an arthouse cinema, enhancing its diverse offerings.
Open from 7:30 PM to midnight on Fridays and Saturdays, and from 3:30 PM until at least 7:00 PM on Sundays, the club welcomes members for an annual fee of £20, allowing them to sign in up to two guests for £2 each. Children over the age of 10 are permitted on Fridays and Saturdays until 8:30 PM, and on Sundays until 6:00 PM. Well-behaved dogs are welcome at any time.
The Cellar Arts Club is located at the corner of Prospect Place and Marine Parade, beneath the View Café, near the Lido.
