The Worthing Society in conjunction with Worthing Museum will be giving a talk on Jane Austen focusing on her time in Worthing. Cost £10 per person.
This event will be held at the Worthing Museum. The talk will follow Jane Austen's route to Worthing in 1805 and her time staying in the town covering what she did, who she met and the built environment of that time. The talk will take approximately 1 hour and will include opportunity to ask questions.
Costumes from the period will be on display in the room from the Museum's collection.
Refreshments (Tea and biscuits) will be served in the Museum Garden.
