Local printmaker Marta Jim brings back her popular Sun Prints workshops once again!
You will learn how to create impressive sun prints from start to finish using ordinary objects and sunlight. This workshop is designed for the complete beginner.
You will take home your beautiful cyanotype prints – perfect as gifts or for yourself.
This is an old photographic printing process that uses a combination of chemicals and UV light (sun exposure) to produce distinctive blue images. You will use organic shapes and objects such as flowers and leaves on paper.
We will be moving from indoors to outdoors throughout the session (depending on the weather), which involves stairs.
This is a quick and easy process and, with a few top tips, you will be able to produce your own sun prints at home.
