In this two-hour long workshop we will draw inspiration from existing flash fictions and explore different components of short story writing such as plot, structure, character voice. We will use these to write fresh and original stories.
You will write to a range of prompts and come away with a wealth of new ideas and, hopefully, feel inspired to continue writing. You will be guided to play with ideas in a supportive, fun and relaxed space.
There will be opportunities but by no means an expectation to share some of your work in progress.
This workshop is led by award-winning writer Rayna Haralambieva. Her words can be found in many in-print anthologies and online journals such as Reflex Press, Litro, Strands, Bath Flash Fiction Award. She recently won the Gold Award in Creative Future Writers’ Award Competition.
