Come & discover the workings of a living windmill on the hill above Worthing!
High Salvington windmill was built in 1756, and despite a ‘colourful’ history through the years, is now back in fine form and offers visitors a warm welcome on selected days throughout the year.
Light refreshments are available & a souvenir shop sells pocket-money souvenirs, souvenir flour (when in stock) and other items.
There are toilets on site, & whilst restricted in space, they can be used by disabled visitors. Regrettably, there is no wheelchair access to the interior of the mill itself, and as the field is grassed, wheelchairs may be unsuitable after wet weather.
