This year the West Sussex Art Society are hosting their annual exhibition at the Skyway Gallery in the Shoreham Centre. Between the 16th and 31st May.
There are over 30 local artists taking part - displaying contemporary, abstract, traditional and conceptual work in 2D and sculptural form. It proves to be an exciting show.
During the exhibition members from the Mark You Make group will be hosting a free workshop to discover and explore the beginnings of creativity using recycled materials. The workshop will be on the 17th May 3-5pm in Room 8 of the Shoreham Centre.
On the 20th May in the evening there will be a Private View with light refreshments and a chance to meet and mingle with local creatives.
On the final day of the exhibition, 31st May, between 1 and 3pm, a Meet the Artist event will take place. There will be an award ceremony presenting the Public Choice Award and Juliet Pannett Cup by a special guest judge.
This year's exhibition will be supporting local charity St Barnabas Hospice. A worthy cause - providing palliative care to residents in the local area and support in the community.
